White Holes: Cosmic Gushers in the Universe is the original exposition of forces which led to the Big Bang. John Gribbin makes his living as a science writer. Best known for In Search of Schrodinger's Cat and his reference books Companion to the Cosmos and Q is for Quantum - he also writes science fiction based on fact. John Gribbin is a former editor of the Nature-Times News Service and (from 1978 to 1998) a consultant to New Scientist. He often broadcasts on science topics for BBC Radio, and occasionally on TV.
